Why & How Australia Is Best Immigration Destination?

When one talks about Australia, there are a lot of images that come like flashes. One can imagine the Great Barrier Reef, the Sydney Opera House, the beautiful flora and fauna dominating the Australian landscape. Some of these features of Oz are spell bounding and charm weaving. At the same time, not just the pleasantries but also the possibilities which have completely enticed many people to think for this place. The beauty comes with the better way of life and Down Under grants the best living standards in the world.

On an average, the mediclaim , superior education and better living standards have completely made this place a heavenly abode. Why and how Australia is the best immigration destination is not a tough question to answer any more.
So, let’s dig a bit and find-out about the specialties of this beautiful country.

Why Australia is the Best immigration Destination?

In the first place, whenever any individual wants to immigrate, the first and foremost thing that they want to know is racially tolerant society and the Kangaroo Land has everything to grant to the citizens. On an average, there have been some 6.5 million people who have come to call the country as their home even while they have been doing seriously promisingly to deliver the best results for their career.

The prospects have also been improvised with highly promising professionals, managers and administrators, associate professionals and trade-persons doing the rounds dramatically. The landscape of this country has also given the opportunity to the entrepreneurs and skilled minds to come and contribute in the growth and development of the economy. The deregulated economy of Australia has also provided a great deal of opportunities to the immigrants, and they almost comprise of roughly 20,000 skilled investors who have been contributing to the expansion and enlargement of the economy.

The leisure activities have definitely resonated with the immigrants and they have found out that the immigration hotspot is a cool place to hand out with. The wilderness of the nation is completely mesmerizing and beautiful beaches have always been the game changing proposition for growth and expansion. Hence, the best could be possible with the Australian economy always there to support folks and fells. The life in the cities has also been promising from all respect. The urban-rural proportion has also been promising and there have been some 86% of the residents who are living in the urban area.

So, the scenario somewhere provides a trend that the urban life of the country comes with opportunities, and the rapid surge in the population has been always game changing proposition.
The competitive immigration norms have also dominated the fore. The better opportunities granted to the spouse of the immigrants have also promised a great deal of opportunities. The flexible immigration process–like sponsorship visas, temporary and permanent resident entry visas–have completely given myriad opportunities to the immigrants to think for a move.

General Skilled Migration Programme

It allows those individuals who have the right amount of skills and expertise to bring about a change. These are the individuals who can migrate to Australia with the right skill-set and demand. Immigrants can express their Interest from the Expression of Interest (EOI) proposal to move to the country. And, if their experience and skill match with the standard sought after, they can move using the immigration programme. The prospective immigrants will have to meet with the desired experience and expectancy level in English Language, and based on that the movement can happen for them.

Sub Class 457 Visa

It is basically meant for temporary workers and they must be sponsored by the employer in any employer based in any province or state in the country. The visa is for any work which demands temporary workers. And once the work has been completed, it would lead to the workers turning unemployed and they will have to leave the state immediately. The visa doesn’t allow the worker to claim for Permanent Residency (PR), and they are generally hired in a contractual basis to perform the job and get paid in return for the services delivered.

Summary: Get to know the reasons which have made Australia as an excellent place to live and thrive as an individual.

Great news for prospective immigrants to Canada as the Federal Government of Canada has announced that they plan to accept 300,000 Canadian permanent residents in 2017. This number is 50,000 more than in the last year and the majority of candidates will be selected from the economic immigration programs. Citizenship Immigration Canada is also aiming to approve 172,500 applicants and their accompanying family members under the economic class immigration programs such as Canada Express Entry, Quebec Skilled Worker, and the various Canadian Provincial Nomination Programs.
Canada is an advanced country that is a top destination for people from around the world possessing key factors that attract immigrants such as the developed infrastructure, low crime and unemployment rate, cultural diversity, and favorable immigration policies. However, moving to Canada will be even more significant in 2017 and here are the five top reasons why this is the case.

1. CANADA IS POISED TO ACCEPT 300,000 NEW IMMIGRANTS

In its 2017 immigration plan, the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced that Canada will accept 300,000 new immigrants. This is certainly an incredible number that is representing an increase of nearly 50,000 from the previous year. It will allow more and more immigrants to obtain a Canadian visa and subsequently gain permanent residence status and Canadian citizenship.
In Canada’s immigration plan for 2017, refugee immigration has been reduced and as a result, the target for economic immigration has increased. About 51,000 immigrants will be allowed to immigrate to Canada through the Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) compared to just 47,000 in 2016. This means that candidates will have a variety of options or pathways to apply and get permanent residency in Canada.
Additionally, candidates applying through the Family Immigration Programs will enjoy substantial benefits in 2017. This will include faster processing times and a growth in application acceptance to a total of 84,000 immigrants compared to just 80,000 in the previous year.

2. THE U.S PRESIDENCY

For US citizens and people living in the United States, the election of the outspoken Donald Trump as its new president has brought a lot of uncertainties. 2017 Represents a year where moving to Canada from the US can be seriously considered.
While the newly elected president Donald Trump was quoted in the international media stating his plans to ban all Muslims from entering the U.S his counterpart in Canada, the Prime Minister Justin Trudeau personally welcomed the country’s first refugees from Syria and set the goal of welcoming 25,000 Syrian refugees.
Unlike in the U.S Canada has a more socially progressive society with a supportive government. The Supreme Court in the U.S legalized same-sex marriage as recently as June 2015 while Canada legalized same-sex marriage 10 years earlier at the Federal level. Mr. Trump has subsequently gone on to say he will appoint a new Supreme Judge to reverse that same decision.
On the other hand, the rate of homicide with firearms in the U.S is 3.2 per 100,000 which is more than six times higher than in Canada at 0.5 per 100,000 according to a survey by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

3. UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE

It may be hard to believe but Canada has enjoyed Universal Healthcare since the 1960’s through the Medical Care Act of 1966. As a result, in Canada patients have little to no financial burden which has helped lengthen life expectancy and prevention of numerous diseases.
The Universal Healthcare in Canada means that it doesn’t matter what kind of financial, age or health status a citizen has as health care is free and available to all citizens. This is unlike the U.S where medical bills are the biggest causes of bankruptcy.
In addition to that, the free medical care in Canada also take into account the needs of kids, people with disabilities, and the elderly. People with disabilities who require special care are taken care of by the universal health care system as best as possible while also having provisions for war veterans.

4. CANADA CELEBRATES ITS 150TH BIRTHDAY IN 2017

For its 150th birthday, 2017 promises to be a big year for Canada and its citizens and visitors from other countries will do well to join in the celebrations that will go on throughout the year. From Vancouver to Newfoundland and Toronto to Nunavut there will be festivals and tons of social events.
However, the biggest party will take place on 1st July, Canada day when each city will do its best to outdo the other, Non-more so than in Charlotte Town, Prince Edward Island which is considered the birthplace of the federation. They intend to do it large by hosting a 24 hour festival with music, fireworks, and parades.
Visitors to Canada in 2017 can enjoy the fact that as a way of celebrating its 150th anniversary, Canada is offering free admission to all of its National Parks. As a wildly diverse country with its incredible Canadian Rockies in the west and the unbelievable Bay of Fundy in the East, visitors and residents will have many reasons to visit Canada.
Along with these free events, visitors to Canada can also make use of the Working Holiday visa to help fund your visit in the country. The Working Holiday visa is unique in that it enables individuals to temporarily live and work in Canada for up to 2 years.

5. NO VISA REQUIREMENT FOR MEXICAN CITIZENS TO CANADA

Effective from December 1, 2016, Mexican citizens will no longer be required to have a visa to visit Canada. Now Mexicans only need to have a valid travel document (passport) and an Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) if traveling by air to visit Canada. An eTA costs just 7 Canadian Dollars and is valid for 5 years.
The lifting of the visa restriction first imposed in 2009 provides a huge incentive for Mexican citizens to consider visiting Canada in 2017 with a view of settling in the country in the future. The removal of the visa requirement for Mexican citizens visiting Canada has come at a convenient time. In his presidential election campaign, Mr. Trump vowed to withdraw from or renegotiate terms of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
NAFTA has been the reason of the recent upturn in economic fortunes for Mexico. The improvement of relations between Mexico and Canada through the lifting of the visa restriction should prove even more beneficial to Mexicans as many of its citizens will be eligible for the popular farm programs in Canada for example.

Canada’s Immigration Plan for 2017

The Canadian government has forecast its intake of newcomers to the country in 2017 will remain at the levels seen this year, but prospective migrants from countries such as India may have reason for cheer as targets for categories under which they are admitted have been raised.

Canada’s minister of immigration, refugees and citizenship John McCallum announced the 2017 immigration plan, the first of the Justin Trudeau government, after nationwide consultations. The government expects to welcome 300,000 new immigrants into Canada next year, the same figure as 2016.

However, a drop in the intake of refugees means the quotas for the economic and family reunification classes will be enhanced.

In 2016, the target for the economic class – the category most used by Indian immigrants – was at 160,600. This has now been upped to 172,500. The family reunification class has been increased by 4,000 to 84,000.

Leading immigration lawyer Ravi Jain, of Toronto-based Green and Spiegel LLP, said: “This new target will benefit Indians as there will be more room to bring in Indian immigrants through both the family class and the economic stream.

“I have already seen a decrease in processing time for my Indian clients who are sponsoring spouses and I expect that parental sponsorships will be processed faster as well.”

The new plan could also be helpful for students from India, as Jain pointed out, “With the higher number of economic class immigrants coming in every year going forward, there will be room for the government to award higher points for Indian international students so that they can once again more smoothly transition to permanent residence.”

The announcement comes days before McCallum leaves for a week-long visit to India, during which he will travel to Amritsar, New Delhi and Chandigarh.

Data released for 2015 showed India was among the top two source countries for new permanent residents. With 39,530 admitted that year, a slight increase over 2014, Indians only trailed permanent residents from the Philippines.

McCullum said in a statement, “The 2017 levels plan will put Canada in a strong position for the future and support our overall economic and social development as a country.”

While there were demands during the consultation process to increase the levels of immigration to 450,000 annually, Macullum settled on a figure that matched the one for 2016, partly due to a record influx of refugees, particularly from Syria.

In his statement introducing the immigration plan, McCallum said, “In 2017, economic immigration programs will see an overall increase of 7% over 2016. Immigrants with skills and experience are able to quickly contribute to the Canadian economy and society, improving life for the middle class as they help create jobs, spur innovation and strengthen communities.
